Aurora Hunting in Iceland
To photograph the Aurora firstly you need clear skies, you then need to have an evening there is enough solar activity for the aurora, the hunt can then begin.A location away from light pollution is a must, then try to get some sort of foreground interest.Iceland is a great location we stayed in Reykjavik and traveled east for approximately 1 hour to this location I used a tripod and wide angled lens 1600 ISO F4 30 sec exposure. The only limitation is the cold and the length of time the Aurora is Visible to capture the shot.
